    Suzy, butterflies live on a liquid diet…different ones like different things, but mostly nectar from flowers, rotting fruit, mud, poop (I knew, gross huh)…the males need minerals for mating, and they get that from the last two, so mostly if you see that it they are males. But they also drink water from little pools like this beside the river.
