Wow, I love that. I have seen so many of your recently posted butterflies in Edinburgh Butterfly World. It isn’t quite the same seeing them in captivity. It must be fantastic finding butterflies like that in the wild. The Banded Peacock is completely new to me. I love the colours and the scattering of green scales on the upper wing. Its tails look like droplets of ink!
I am glad to hear you are going back to Thailand next year. Hopefully you will get plenty more pictures for your blog!!
Sorry I didn’t reply sooner Nick. I’m learning Resultive Verb Endings, and there are so, so many! Language study can use up all the available brain cells some weeks. But, hey, I just read about this intriguing place today….Purple Butterfly Valley in Taiwan. I’m thinking that just may be our January Visa run/vacation destination!
